Dear TechnoExpo Attendees,
The Northwest Independent School District is committed to preparing our students for the 21st Century challenges of the conceptual age. Part and parcel of the life of every 21st Century citizen is broad continuous learning with special attention given to innovation in learning within a digital classroom. TechnoExpo 2014 is a reflection of how our students are engaged in technological innovation.
During these two hours, Northwest ISD students in grades K-12 will demonstrate how they learn with technology. Students will showcase products and projects they have completed to show their learning across eight categories including animation, digital video, multimedia, website design, desktop publishing, digital audio and electronic art.
Enjoy cuisine from our very own Culinary Arts Academy! Students will prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages from 5:30-7:30.
The student showcase begins at 6:30. Over 525 sessions will be showcased in more than 85 classrooms. The products and projects represent the work of more than 1,100 NISD students. We invite you to enjoy their work, reflect on their innovation, and be inspired to continue your own 21st Century technology journey.
